Please share what you have been doing for the last 5 years?: 2018 Broadway Season was my last as a Tony Award Voter but was my first year to serve on the SAG Awards Nominating committee. I enjoyed the private screenings and appreciated all the receptions, talks with cast members. I continue to serve on Committees at Actors Equity Association and Audition here and there. Looking forward to embracing more character roles like "Nurse Preen" which I performed in an Off Broadway revival of THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER. I continue to sing with the choir at St. Paul and St. Andrew UMC and am active in P.E.O. supporting women's educational projects. Travel to Minnesota is less frequent since the passing of my mother. Last summer my sister and I met in Kansas City and drove to Dodge City to bury Mother's ashes with return trip to Minnesota for a Boundary Waters canoe trip. This summer our building's conversion from gas to electric stoves is all consuming. Looking forward to our 50th reunion in September and Robert's in October.

Please share what you have been doing for the last 5 years?: Six years ago I drastically changed my career path from sign language interpreter to high school math teacher. Wish I would have figured out sooner that this is what I wanted to be when I grew up! I love my job teaching geometry and algebra II at Jenks High School.

Mark and I have been married almost 38 years...the magic continues! Our oldest daughter, Amy, lives in Estonia with her Russian-Estonian husband, Robert, and our two precious grandsons, Christopher Mark, age almost 4, and Michael Aleksander, age 1 month. Our son, Scott, lives in Queens, NY, and is a musician-composer. Our baby, Susannah, is at George Washington Univ. in her first year of law school. Mark and I spend a lot of our vacation time visiting our children.

Please share what you have been doing for the last 5 years?: With my husband's job we moved a lot, but are now residing in the mountains of Virginia, this is a place to retire and enjoy God's beauty, a long way from Kansas, but Ks still pulls at my heart strings

Please share what you have been doing for the last 5 years?: I retired in 2015, have been active in volunteering at a retreat center, on a couple of citizens advisory groups (WA Dept of Fish and Wildlife Hydraulic Project Advisory Group, Wenas Wildlife Area Target Shooting Advisory Group), Wild Horse WInd Farm Oversight Group and Conservation and Habitat Chair on the local Audubon Society Board. Also trying to "thin" my belongings having learned to value of less stuff as my siblings and I deal with the estate of our late parents.

Comment: I'm looking forward to the Reunion!  I retired from the Waashington Department of Ecology, Toxics Cleanup Program in 2015 after 30+ years of working for the state or counties, mostly at Ecology.  I visit Manhattan for about a month spring and fall to visit family, care for aging parents, work at the farm and hunt deer and turkeys.  I'm breaking in a 'new' right total knew replacement in late March 2019.  Looking forward to seeing those able to attend the reunion!

Please share what you have been doing for the last 5 years?: Pretty much the same as the ten before: managing or overseeing the cleanup of hazardous waste sites, with a few forays into policy and rule-writing, and IT strategy planning for the Washington State version of the EPA. I'm now working out of our Yakima office, and still living in Ellensburg. In my non-work life, I'm doing a little gunsmithing, playing guitar, and working with a group developing a retreat center that's morphing into an Eco-Village.

Please share what you have been doing for the last 5 years?: I have been in the Substance Abuse field since 1995. My journey started when I was released from doing community service in an enclosed environment 07/05/1994. Ended up here in the KCMO area, started going to college studying what I knew best alcohol and drug abuse. Got my MSW degree in 2003 from KU. Started out working with teenagers did that for 10 years and now work at a company that provides services to individuals that have gotten DWI's. I thought that I had some good drink stories, but I have heard some better ones. I haved been married for over 13 years, my wife is also a Social Worker, she has 4 grown kids, and we have 7 grandkids ranging in ages from 17-9.

Please share what you have been doing for the last 5 years?: I have been working for Kansas State University Athletics for 26 years. I do maintenance on all buildings at the Sports Complex. I retired Sept. 2013 from the State of Kansas and now work for Athletics doing same job. I got married again in November 2004 to Alesia (class of 1985) it's been almost 10 years now. My 4 children, 1 girl and 3 boys and 1 granddaughter, all of which still live in Manhattan. My granddaughter just graduated MHS class of 2014 and is attending Beauty School here in Manhattan. My wife works for Dillons which is where I met her in 1989 and she's there it will be 29 years this summer. Time flys when your having fun. We've traveled to Alaska twice on Cruises and are wanting to go again soon.



I retired from Kansas State University Athletic Maintenance on August 24, 2021. I work elections, both advance voting and I am in charge or the polling place at Manhattan Public Library o election day.
