I finally checked out this web site today. I keep reminding George that this reunion is coming up soon and we need to register. When I clicked on the Lost Classmates page I saw there was a Joe Sutterlin listed. Oh my, there are two of them!!!!! That explains alot of the last 30 years. | One of the memories, there was one guy I considered the first "long-haired Hippie", he came back from Californa with a "hippie" chick and another lady that was from New Jersey that went to VET school at KS. The hippie chick always wore "patchouli" you could always tell that she had walked through Aggielville. About 4 years ago I switched from using alcohol based products to oil's and the one that suited me was "Patchouli", now everyone knows me due to my smell. Now does anyone remmeber who the long hair was??? | |||

| I have been called alot of things, but BUNS was not one. I am not even sure that I remember how that person got that name other then he had a big butt. I have been called CRAZY, not sure if that was my nickname or not. Hopefully I will be there Saturday, My job now is doing SATOP groups on the weekends and during the week. These are programs for people that have gotten DWI's and business is good. Love this job, collected lots of Drunk Driving stories some are great. Talked Joe Sumner into coming, he retired from the US dept. of Forest he was a special investigater, has a website check out his pictures at www.jlsumner.com. Great stuff. | |||

I just turned 58, and I have no idea where the time has gone. I don't feel a day over 57. Not able to attend this year, but have attended several times in the past. It has been alot of fun. My 14 year old son caught me replying to this and had never heard about the Buns name. I told him where it started and all the modifications that came over the years. Living in Atlanta since 82', haven't been "home" since 88'......booked my flight last summer. I can't wait to see anyone and everyone from the good ol' days. Told Ambrose, sorry I don't play guitar, but whatever get's up on that stage will be awesome, I am sure. Also, a ton of kudos to all that have put so much time and effort into putting this together.....what an effort! I know we all appreciate it more than you know. Too many we will be missing that cannot show up.....all gone too early. |

| I hope everyone comes to this reunion. The committee worked very hard to change to date to early fall, when the weather is beautiful, and not too hot to travel. One other thing -- silly things keep people from coming, like they don't like how much they weigh (that would be me!), or they don't think they have a prestigious enough job, or they don't have a job at all, etc. I think that now we are pushing 60, those things are irrelevant to most of us. If we're still alive and kicking -- or if we're just alive and in a wheel chair -- that's cause for celebration, and we should all get together and celebrate our victories and defeats, and joys and sorrows. And one more thing: if you haven't come to the reunions because you were miserable in high school and thought everyone hated you (that would also be me!), then come and be surprised at how many other people felt the same way. Time is a great equalizer, and you'll find the people who were the coolest in high school chatting amiably with people they used to torment. We have all grown up, and if you are carrying around bad feelings about those times, come and have them purged. You will leave the reunion happy. | |||
